Don't forget the other parts Jesus left out....how the prodigal son had to sit quietly at the dinner table for a period of 6 months to 2 years, without saying anything to anyone...then how he gradually got his "privileges" restored...how there was a "local needs" talk given by the father to the household explaining just how bad it was that "some people" (not mentioning any names) lived with prostitutes & lived a life of debauchery...
Maybe all that stuff will be in the "new scrolls".
