I agree with you. Whats that old adage...if you stand for nothing, you will fall for anything.

My aunt recommended that my mother tell me that I could go to a different Hall. She said if I had problems or differences with others, I could just go to a different place. When my mom reminded her that I would know that, being an exelder, she said, "would you still tell him that for me??" I responded, "tell her thanks, I knew that but I have no plans to go back. But thanks".

It's amazing that they just want you to come back. They can't see sh*t.

Ultimately, you've got exhausted, weak, sick minded people just trying to keep it together, day by day, week by week-----hanging on just long enough until "The End" comes. They are on auto-pilot. Meanwhile they enjoy nothing "this life" offers them. And they are miserable.

Thats why you get so many depressed individuals in the Cong. Who can blame them when they are overloaded with duties to the Org, isolated from the real world with no real life outside of the Cong and constantly made to feel guilty with their everyday 'failings' by the WT.

Mini: Todays, Jehovah's Witness is a SOCIAL group. It's a bunch of people who need to feel like they belong to at least something "special".

Pretty disparaging MINI, it's one thing to be a nice social group, but these are SOCIAL MISFITS, but as such I guess you could call them a group. Where I live all the "special" kids ride the SHORT BUS which is a good place for SOCIAL MISFITS.

They generally attend meetings---but if something very important came up, they would miss.

That does happen, especially for things like college hoops, or just about any other sports event. Also, I once missed because Fonzie was jumping the shark on waterskis....very important.....oompa
