I thought that article would help "flesh out" exactly what some possible controlling behaviors are. In my past, I was blissfully unaware of how many controllers there were out there. (I was affected by the female branch of controllers, but I know many men also have that same insecure urge to control.)

I'm pretty laid back in a relationship and I seem to be attracting the same type of women! It usually starts about 2 months in, then the controlling starts! Most of the points in the article I can totally relate too!
