I told mum yesterday that i'd carry on my so called 'anti jw' speak when she is an old lady of 80 years old.
Her Words "i dont think this system will last that long".
I have a long time to wait but i shall be proven right!

Yep. I remember starting kindergarten and asking my mom what high school was like and she said "You probably won't have to worry about that, the new system will be here by then."
Now I've been to University and my dad is two years away from retirement.
Sometimes I wanna tell my mom that she wil die an old woman and it'll will be the disgusting homosexual that will probably take care of her...
But then I believe karma will bite me in the ass and somehow she'll outlive me. So if I keep it inside I wil get to gloat to her when she's old...
It's sick I know but I'm an amoral apostate so I can be like that.
Like I picture her stuck in the house in a wheelchair tring to get to a meeting and going, "You wouldn't be doing this to me if I was stuck in this chair!" wacing her watchtower around and then I go-
"But you are stuck in that chair, mother! You are!"
That's a powerful statement to our child-hating parents.
In trying to force logic upon mine, I've said 'in ten years when you're on your death beds you can say 'I'm so glad we haven't talked to our youngest daughter for 10 years--it was all worth it' but you will die and I will die like others before us, the difference is you'll die with your hatred in tact and you'll think that your evil god will remember you for that'. . .
It may sound awful, but it's reality, and it's really a walk in the park after 'you're not our daughter anymore'. . .
I cannot believe the number of JW's still spouting this. The mind-control really works.
"This system of things can't last another 20 years."
"I doubt my parents will have to face death."
"Our baby probably won't have to go to high school in this system."
I never thought I'd see 50 in "this system" but my 50th birthday is in just 4 more months. I'm glad I finally started putting something aside for my retirement. I won't be destitute when I retire, but I certainly won't be travelling the globe either.
If anyone hasn't started planning for retirement, think seriously about it today. It's never too soon to start.

they told me i wouldn't have to go to school. later they told me i wouldn't have to search a job. i even heard someone say "if the year 2k passes and armageddon has not come, the bible is wrong" (well... the bible is wrong anyway, so what ;P)
My mother, now a grandmother, was never to go to elementary school.
Her grandson will be starting high school next year.
yeah I just got ANOTHER email about how we are soooooooooo close...and to hang in there a little longer......hahahaha!!!
I was unlikely to ever start school because the end is so close.
Now I'm out of school, have a degree, married, three kids and 2 of them are in school themselves.
And learning from my parents, I'll likely be able to retire at 55.
