This is sooooo goofy on so many levels. Like anyone in that position is thinking "hmmm this might be considered fornication, I better yell".
I think elders are not qualified ( or annointed sisters conducting Bible studies ) to advise a woman on WHAT to do or not do in the crime of being raped. Just like they are not qualified to tell child abuse victims WHAT to do in the crime of being molested. All elders should keep their pieholes shut when giving out their uneducated cult controlled advice. People who have been abused or raped should go to police authorities as soon as they are physically able to to get help to get the perpetrators of these crimes caught . Then get the proper emotional and psychological help from professional college educated counselors who do counseling as their job. Prayer does not help. Counseling does. Peace out, Mr. Flipper

She's not screaming to tell God she doesn't consent. She's having to prove her innocence to a bunch of old sexually repressed perverts.
I remember an old Awake! article (possibly from the 1980s) where a woman actually wrote in to protest the "scream or be disfellowshipped" thing that had been mentioned in a previous article......I think it was the "comments from readers". She specifically stated that she was unable to scream because the perpetrator had his hand over her mouth throughout the entire ordeal. I forgot what the reply was....I wish I could find it.
