I remain firm in my Humble opinion; which as far as I'm aware I am now entitled to have since I'm no longer a faceless speechless opinonless witless wife!

I feel the initial post was patronsing; a resume of what a dumb arse dawg was when he first joined this public forum, and how all you guy's educated him to become more passive, offering alive branches etc!

I dont think anyone here is awfull, Including you Changling, and including dawg in his early days., We have our own opinions; I expresed mine.

Look shell, just let it go. It doesn't matter whether what she said was patronising or not, but I don't believe it was intended to. It's just that they wanted this thread to "honour a friend" or whatever, so they probably would rather not have any arguing.

Nobody said this! You, again, fail to "see". You have belittled Changeling's personal observation and embellished it with what you perceive was her intention. There's not a single person that doesn't enter this forum initially and evolve in some way. Changeling gently noted this, and you came shoving and shouting that her intentions were something other. Shame on you.

i have been pm ed by dawg in a very (i thought ) assertive manner. When I put my viewpoint to him, and explained my position ( on education and fading) he was fine and very conciliatory. That is the kernel of what changeling was saying. I have not the slightest doubt that it was her intention to honour him.

So now noticing someone's attitude and thoughts and also noticing a change that seems to be favorable is patronizing?

Man...now I'm pissed at a LOT of people for patronizing me. All this time I felt pretty good when someone noticed the efforts I was making to examine myself and make some changes. Hell, I'll be the first to say I've learned a lot and am nowhere near the guy I was when I started posting. Anyone who never changes needs to go ahead and roll on over into a hole somewhere because it's over. Life is change.

I definitely saw a change in the guy and yea I thought it was good. I'm sure he'll be back, sometimes those of us who have a lot to figure out have to take breaks here and there.

I respect and honor Dawg too. I liked his lively energy, and his face on approach is worth thinking about. I'm a fader, all my family's out, so I don't need to go barking at the WTS. I think that each of us has our own Tao-our own path that we choose, and I think that all are valid.

This is one fight I'm not interested in getting involved in.

But I never have understood asking someone to leave a thread, for any reason. I don't get it. I really don't.

I think it's cool to watch them take on a life of their own, at times in a very different direction from what was originally intended.

My two cents.
