Here is the deal, and some of you probably already know my oven conked 2 days ago. The top works but the interior does not.
I have ordered a spiral ham, I have great bean recipe for stove top, and coleslaw......but I need other side dishes that can be heated or cooked either on the grill or stove top.....
I'm desperate.....do you have anything? I can't bake/broil. So I have no way to make a desert either, other than store bought ...which I hate!!!!!

Restrangled..You can buy a new element for the oven,at most any hardware store..I`ve repaired many stoves through the years..It`s a very easy thing to replace.....

Hi Outlaw, I finally got the store to admidt this stove is covered by warranty. The episode was so frightening that I don't dare use it until they replace the broiler unit.....it melted.....this is an original 1200.00 to 1600.00 convectin oven from Germany only 2 years old.....If I fiddle with it....I'm screwed.....they can't get here until the 26th of December at 8 am. How convenient is that?
So in the mean time if you have stove top recipes...... be forthcoming! Please!

Go out to eat, then you don't have to cook. or get a
Restrangled..You have a BBQ..Good!..Lets work with what we have..I don`t know if you can get a whole roasting pan in the BBQ..But..You can usually get the bottom half of the roaster in..Thats all you need..You can cover the roaster with foil to make a makeshift lid..Pour about 1/2 cup of red wine over the ham..Spice..And..Cover the ham over with foil..Get the BBQ up to proper cooking temperature..And ..Cook the ham as you normally would..You can steam vegetables on the stove..Make gravy on the stove..Make mashed potatoes on the stove,ect.........You can make any baked deserts in the BBQ the day before..Your BBQ can be used like a regular oven..Just make sure of your temperatures...OUTLAW

Sorry, my guys want home cooking, especialy after moving out and coming home for Christmas...its the least I can do for the 2 of them! So I need stove top recipes to go with Ham if anyone has any. Especially for potatoes, greenbeans etc. Thanks in advance.
