Prophecor...I will probably be making that dish....thank you! I have fresh ripe bananas off of my trees outside that I just cut off today. They will last about a week...about 60 of them. I will let you know how it comes out!

As far as questioning Outlaw's cooking capabilites: He is a Chef, and spent time in school as such....I trust him completely!

Baked macaronni - just don't bake it! Goes great with ham!

    Boil 1 box of rigatoni

Strain and add: 1 stick of butter, 1 small can of evaporated milk and 1 pkg of grated sharp cheddar. Season with salt and pepper.

    Yum!!!!

For dessert check the internet for Icebox dessert recipies - make ahead and chill in fridge.

    Happy holidays!

Also..you can bake sweetpotatoes in the microwave then slice them and put them in a frypan and melt brown sugar and dabs of butter or marshmellows on them.

I have made sweet potatoes this way----minus the marshmallows. They were very tasty! There is always instant mashed potatoes you can add a little onion powder and/or shredded cheese in.

Dessert could be a pie made with cooked vanilla or chocolate pudding in a graham cracker or oreo cookie crust, topped with whipped cream.

Stove Top Stuffing! Yummy! Yeah, I don't really cook for anyone. It's sad. I'm a sad case. Top Ramen? Oh, I know: Tuna Helper

Restrangled, I make my ham on the BBQ ever since I had to, for lack of oven space. It's delish! Do you have a crock pot or even two? There are some desserts that look great done in the CP. Also, you might be able to do something along the lines of scalloped potatoes in one. I am just thinking, haven't looked anything up.

Have you ever made a Trifle? Look those up too, fantastic and beautiful desserts, a lot like Prophecor's banana pudding. Which just happens to be on my list this year! I haven't had that in 20yrs I bet.

trifle is good and you can make it ahead. Creme Brulee minus the brulee is very easy on the stove top - make the day ahead and refrigerate, serve with some crisp cookies instead of the burnt sugar topping. Ice cream with berries is delicious, or berries with whipped cream. Or peel and slice some oranges, add some diced candied ginger and a little sugar and put in the frig to marinate. Make a red wine syrup with two cups red wine and one cup sugar, add some fruit such as figs, or dried fruit of your choice or cherries, something out of the freezer. Maybe add some whole cloves or a cinnamon stick or the zest of an orange or lemon. Poach the fruit until tender, refrigerte the whole thing, serve as is, or over ice cream or over tapioca, or over the creme-brulee-minus-the-brulee.

You can make potato salad the night before and keep it in the refrigerator. Also, deviled eggs. Boil some corn on the cob. If you have a crock pot you can do meatballs with grape jelly. I know it sounds bizarre, but trust me, these things are good. Here's a link to the recipe: http://southernfood.about.com/od/crockpotmeatballs/r/bl47c10.htm.

You can do some mixed veggie's like cut up squash, zucchini, mushrooms, or whatever else you like...put seasonings on it with either some extra virgin olive oil, or Italian Dressing. Wrap in tin foil and you can put it on the grill...
