Wow, that is great! I hope your wife continues her independent thinking experience and that her parent continue showing her what and how a good jw has to act and think.
Good Luck!

Wow Sounds like you have really reached your wife! Glad to hear she's thinking on her own a bit! Good luck with all this.
Guys:
I've read many things about what some people in the forum have done to make their family start thinking. One article that was really helpful is here: http://www.freeminds.org/psych/exithelp.htm. Give it a look!!
I know that this is a long process, and that I have a lot of work to do. I will keep you all posted!
Thanks a lot for your comments and support!!!

Fantastic news TTRP!!!
That is great to hear.
Does she still think it's "The Truth"?
Open Mind
OpenMind: I have not asked her that question directly, yet...
For the moment, I'm reading the bible each night with her, BUT NOT the NWT. I received a "Parallel bible" as a gift, and it has 2 different translations per page. She is noticing some differences!!!
Have a great day!

Dear Tooktheredpill,
(((HUGS)))!!! WhoooooHooooo!!!!!!!!! That is WONDERFUL! Sounds like she is starting to allow herself to use her use her brain. I remember how I felt when I started to use mine! It was so amazing how many friends and loved ones didn't want to hear our ligitimate questions and the things we had discovered. Yet, I had to keep telling myself that I was the same way with my parents when they tried to tell me what they had found and the concerns they had. I wouldn't allow them to share anything with me after I found they had doubts. It wasn't until 2 years later that I finally opened my heart, ears and eyes! So it may take time for them to listen to her. But I am thrilled for you that she is waking up! By her parents refusing to listen to her, it will no doubt fuel her for more research. Which as we all know is the key to "pandoras box"! Please keep us posted as to her progress! We will definately says some prayers in your behalf.
Sincerely,
Lady Liberty
That is AWESOME!!! Congratulations buddy!
May I add my voice to the cheering throngs?
Way to go TTRP!
This is fantastic news!
It's always wonderful to hear about another awakening. They seem to be coming fast and furious these days.
Once the wet wollen blanket has been removed from your face and you get a glimpse of the real truth and lose your fear to question - there is NO TURNING BACK.
Taking the red pill really is an appropriate illustration when it comes to showing someone the light about the real world....once the fantasy world has been indentified, it is identified forever more.

BTT:
Hello guys!
I've been disconnected from the forum for some time, and I just want to let you know what's been happening in the last 2 months, after my wife started "thinking by herself":
This last week, when we received the letter and the new tract about the "Bethel Dressing Code", it was "The straw that broke the camel's back" for her!!! She went nuts!
When we returned home she started complaining (almost screaming) about it! She called the WT a "cult", and that she doesn't believe it. The funny thing was that she called another forum member (you know who you are, and thanks for your help!) to ask him about it. We spent 2 hours talking with her about the WT, the bible, 607, 1914, 1975, and the whole nine yards!
This week has been a really thought time for her, because she's realizing the truth about the WT. She looks kind of sad sometimes, but at least I'm letting her know that I love her with all my heart constantly. And I explained her that many many "brothers and sisters" have our same "doubts". At least I know about 3 common friends that are still in, but they don't believe in the WT. So we are not alone!
I always said this in my posts: This forum is a blessing!!!! Thanks to all for all your support.
And keep us in your prayers! (Or send us positive vibes!!! )
i dont know how i missed this first time around, but i have to tell you it is thrilling to read.... bless your wife's heart, mate.... it is sometimes very sad to realize the enormity of what leaving the b0rg actually means in real life costs and emotional turmoil...... i am so glad you each will be partnered in the transition and aftermath..... continued good luck !
