By the way, these are the same computers they have used before. I was familiar with how they work, but the whole process seemed flawed. When you ask how to vote a write in, they shrug their shoulders and say "I dont know" "nobody's ever asked". They are either poorly trained or they are trying to purposefully steer people from doing write ins.

One of the candidates has changed parties since the last election, and the poll worker claimed he was always that party. I knew differently. I went to work last night and found out this person was not a republican the last time.

    lots of inconsistencies

I really like HIllary myself but I'm afraid she couldn't win against the Republicans because so many hate her. I'm torn if I should vote for Obama or Hillary so that they could beat the Republican candidate.

The thing to remember here is that many more people are disgusted with the republican party and will not vote republican. Hillary is not as hated as you might imagine. Those who hate her are very vocal about it. Kind of like the squeaky wheel, you know? She has a very strong chance of becoming our first woman president. Looking at her issues and policies, I think she could be a good president, too.

You're pretty much right Burn. In all of the past elections I knew up front who I liked and who I didnt. This whole election has been like maneuvering through a minefield.

I'm getting disgusted with the republican party turning its back on its conservative base, especially the religious right. I would be almost tempted to vote for Hillary and then rub it in the face of the republican elite for doing so.

This whole election has ticked me off to the core.

I didnt know the religious right was big business?

Again... the god, gay, and anti-baby killer platform has never been the Republican conservative platform. The party panders to that crowd as it's the only emotional basis for getting that populations vote.

Money Taxes Foreign policy ..thats what the Republicans have been about in the past. Smaller government, states rights ........ If they can wave a flag, bash some gays and get Jerry Falwell on board ...all the better.

I'd dig up LBJ and elect him If I could.

Ronald Reagan, George Sr,George W would never been elected had it not been for the religious conservatives, especially George W. The republican party is torn apart right now. They are sacrificing their beliefs for electability.

I believe the 21st century republican party would run Satan on a ticket if he could beat Hillary. Hillary is a liberal no doubt, but there are many people on this board who make her look moderate in comparison.

McCain is a Rino, much like yourself. I guess I will vote for the Rino if he gets nominated, but in all reality the only difference between him and McCain is what is between their legs. She is just a little more liberal than what he is, therefore by default I would choose him. However I still reserve the option of a protest vote if I so choose.

Never underestimate the power of prayer, Dave.

It sounds like your faith is shaken.

Jesus will make his will known 11/04/08.

    Hang in there.

    Keep praying.
