Unless of course they can fix the election like they did the last two times.
The problem with that is it needs to be close for it to work.

Thanks, you too.
I do need to start praying more, not only for my own needs, but also for my country.
Well I hope that more people on the right start leaving things in god's hands more. So those on the left can start fixing these problems the right created by not heeding their own advise and leaving things in god's hands.
This election is either going to be close, or it will be a landslide, no in between. It all depends on how both parties treat their core base. If one or the other disenfranchises its core base, then it will be a landslide.
I have talked with numerous religous conservatives and from what I gather, they are growing weary. If Huckabee isnt nominated, you can probably kiss a whole voting bloc goodbye, at least here in the South. Imagine in 2000 if just 5% of the religious right skipped the election, then Gore would have been president.
Obama and Hillary's race is divided along racial lines. White women voting for Hillary, black women voting for Obama, some balck women voting for Hillary. The democrat party must also not disenfranchise a major voting bloc for if they do, then it will be a landslide for the republicans.
Both parties have alot of work cut out for them either way.

Finally, Though honestly for the wrong reason why didn't they after 6 years of a Republican congress and president not giving them what they wanted beats me.
Can you explain more? I'm not quite following you.

Abortion and birth control are still legal and protected rights.
Christianity is still not the state religion of the USA. English is still not the official language of the US. Flag burning is still a protected right. Divorce is still legal and easy to get. Fornication and porn are still legal and protected rights. Evolution is still taught in schools as fact and Creationism isn't nor can be by law. School prayer is still illegal. The contract on America is has not been fulfilled Not passed: require all laws that apply to the rest of the country also apply to Congress;Not passed: select a major, independent auditing firm to conduct a comprehensive audit of Congress for waste, fraud or abuse;
Not passed: cut the number of House committees, and cut committee staff by one-third;
Not passed: limit the terms of all committee chairs;
Not passed: ban the casting of proxy votes in committee;
Not passed: require committee meetings to be open to the public;
Not passed: require a three-fifths majority vote to pass a tax increase;
Not passed: and implement a zero base-line budgeting process for the annual Federal Budget.
All that despite the repeated stating the a clear majority of Americans want this. Which of course is not true. There is no clear majority that want these things. This was a vocal minority movement much like prohibition was a vocal minority movement
I was thinking that if the two that made it to the end were McCain and Obama, then I wouldn't care that much who won... still I'd vote for Obama-but I like McCain OK... but if its Hillary, I will not vote... she's sucks plain and simple... she'll do and say anythng to get elected and has no morals... her vote on the war proves all that i need to hear, and last night in the debate she changed her position once again on immigration... she changes whenever the polls change, not when her conscience guides her..
I hate Hillary Clinton, and I garentee you that there are many middle of the road democrats that feel the same... and what's wrose, if you want to empower he Republicans to vote in Nov... let hillary win... you'll see a turnout like never before.

Again, Carl Rove's genius. He really used religion to hornswaggle a lot of gullible people.
