I still believe in a God that I can have a personal relationship with. What has changed is my understanding of Him.

Same as Burn.
I have faith in myself, my wife, my left nut, my bong, my PS3 and Boba Fett.
I have faith that come April 15th I will write the IRS another very large check, and I will do this every year until I die.
I never used to wonder about death, or what comes after, because I had all the answers! But now I really wonder, but not with fear....it feels odd, and I am curious. This planet and universe are so incredible and complex that to me it defies logic that someone must have had a creative hand it. Yet, I do not have a clue if he had purpose for man, and he sure does not seem to care what the heck happens to us. I was more comfortable knowing all the answers dang it!!!......................................................oompa
Oompa,
I think most of us are on the same page. Having all the answers was extremely convenient. I have felt like a lost canoe in a storm since I left the Org, and am just learning how to relax and not have to KNOW everything.
Regarding death, I was discussing it just yesterday. I don't really fear death, but at least now, I EXPECT it. As a Witness, we had always 'rounded the corner' and armageddon was just a couple whatevers away. We weren't trained to accept our mortality.
I do believe in God, and in Jesus Christ. Not sure if Jesus is the Son of God as we understand what a Son is, or if he is a "piece" of God, such as, "In the beginning the Word..was God."
I have read re: the substance of Christ in the book, "A Dictionary of Early Christian Beliefs" by Bercot. It helped me to see that for 2000 years men have been trying to understand Jesus and Jehovah.
I think the complexity of the human eye, brain, or physical universe actually REQUIRES the existence of a God, however complex he is. The laws of nature teach us "atrophy". I am sure that others will disagree, but I remain convinced that there is a Creator, God.
Good thread.

Just three people: Me, Myself and I.
as far as death goes, to the well organized mind death is merely the next great adventure.
I have faith in you, Oompa. You are going to be alright.
Life (this type), for as long as it lasts.
I have faith in hope, but not much hope in faith.
