Eryn should have been banned before, imo. But now SHE HAS TO GO.
Eclipse should be banned for her sheer magnitude of ignorance and naivety.

I didnt read about what you refer to but heres some possible answers.
Some people become calloused the longer they live. It's a coping survival mechanism.
Some people are born jerks, some people become jerks. Some people have different perspectives and aggendas.
And sometimes its a little bit of everything.
