  Troubled, listen not to fools, you know inside yourself from whence you are coming. This happens often, but it is only part of a collective community with many individuals all at opposite ends of the spectrum in the healing / recovery processes from the WT. Some fire off to let off steam, some are you say rightly, complete idiots, many are very true to themselves and care deeply for others.

  I'd be good to see you stay longer, when you next post, I'll make a point of answering if I can positively.

  Were you proactive enough to try to maintain contact with Troubled? Did you request her to email you? Well I did, as I did with Hillary when he was pilloried here. So now my list of the elite that I post to in private include: Waiting, RedHorseWoman, TR, JT, Troubled, Farkel, Kent, Tina, DannyBear, JoelBear, teejay, Mommy, Mommie Dark, Seeker, Maximus, NotinService, Ros, JAVA, DungBeatle, Giny Tosken, Sun Child, Prisca, and Hillary. Those who have read my emails from several groups who share common emails include some of the above, plus Francois, AlanF, Gator, Norm, Amazing, and (can you beieve it?) Jim Penton.

  I confess, I confess. I have had private emails with many people. I will not divulge all of my wife's sins, but she has been known to correspond with some of the same people I mentioned, plus Patio and Simon's wife.
  I am so ashamed, but I have to admit that I have had telephone conversations with the following people: JAVA, Norm, Ginny Tosken, Kent, AlanF, Farkel, Ray Franz, Jim Penton, JT, NotinService, Jean Eason, Richard Hickman, Leonard Cretiean, and Jehovah.

  My rant has to do with the paranoia of Danny Bear, Teejay and others regarding what they consider to be a certain elite group of posters. They alluded to it in their last posts, so I responded. I am sure that my remarks looked like the writings of a lunatic, but I am sure that DannyBear and teejay will understand.

  Thank you for asking. You are lucky that you did not know what was going on, believe me.

  By the way, your signiture I think, was from a man named William Oncken, unless he took it from someone else. He put it this way. "The golden rule of business: those that have the gold, make the rules."

  You criticize people because they know each other. You criticize people because the form friendships. You criticize people because they share similiar ideas.

  It is all clubby to you isn't it? Well, get some really good friends among the xJWs, you might really like it.

  Let me tell you a couple of stories.

  Richard Hickman was a missionary with the Witnesses in South America with his wife. He has been blind for many years, because he was diabetic and the Watchtower Society did not allow him proper medical treatment. Despite that disability, he wrote a book, The Psychology of Jehovah's Witnesses, with the aid of his wife. How do I know that? Because I took the time to go visit him and talk about our JW experiences.

  Many years ago, I wrote a one page piece, called, An Open Letter To Jehovah's Witnesses, with my address at the bottom. JAVA got a copy of it shortly after he left the religion. He contacted me and we spent every Sunday afternoon for two months talking about the Witness experience.

  I read Jean Eason's book about her Witness experience. I called her at her home in Lexington Kentucky which is a two hour drive from my house and visited.

  After reading Ray Franz's book, I called him. As a result, I was invited to attend a meeting of xJWs who meet at Peter Gregerson's summer cottage, where BCRI was established.

  After reading Penton's book, I contacted him and talked. We met in Sarnia, Canada and had a pleasant two hour visit. I have not been in contact with him for several years until last week, when I sent him an email. He is writing another book and asked me to review it and write a preface.

  Am I an elitist? Fuck no. I take an interest in other people, including Troubled. Where were you when she needed you? I don't recall either of you posting, teejay and DannyBear.

  Thank you for that most wonderful post. If such a thing as "inspiration" exists (in the sense of God directing people to write), that was definitely one. Never, never on any DB have I read something that touched my heart so directly and profoundly. Thank you, thank you and thank you again for sharing.
