How disgusting and maddening is this video!?! This guy is a looser!! And listen to all the clapping. Do people not get it? Do any of those people in attendance sit there and think how wrong this is? My hope is that there are some. These poor brothers who have to clean and wash windows for a living must just love what he is advocating. I guess that might be one of the only times that they feel good about what they are doing, validation. He and his "cushy" position where he doesn't have to worry about expenses, how would he know the struggles?? Like he is in a position to tell these poor people about not getting an education.

And by the way, love his example about the guy who tried to commit suicide and just HAPPENED TO HIT THE PART OF HIS BRAIN THAT AFFECTED HIS DISORDER??? Ya right! These loosers will believe anything. And, then he likened that experience to going to college? Sick, really sick.

Yeah, the part about the guy shooting himself and magically "curing" his OCD problem was WAY over the top. Comparing "surviving" college to surviving a suicide attempt is ludicrous; it's a major scare tactic used by the CULT to force people into relative captivity.

I am sure that in the eyes of the GB, college is evil. Not because it might divert your attention from "serving Jehovah", or because there are "more worthwhile things to do"; it's because when people go to college, they actually have to think for themselves. They have to read certain books for their classes. Heaven forbid, they might be required to take a World Religions class or Philosophy or something NOT taught by the cult. They know that if people educate themselves and get their heads out of the sand, they'll realize the mind control they've been subjected to and they'll leave the borg.

Sad to say that many coming out of the JW cult-ure have felt like the young man with the shotgun. If they could just "blow out" that section of the brain that contains the "mind control." They battle with it for years, even lifetimes.

I also feel the same way about the education.

I also work hard, make very little money, and cannot get a job that is truly fulfilling as I do not have a degree and hence am not qualified. I am back in college at the age of 56. I am determined to get my degree, even though I must still work full time and go to college part time. We were cheated. TheWTS is always quoting some degreed person when it suits their purpose, as THEY are the ones who must tell us who we must believe. It is like the middle ages. The masses must be kept in ignorance, while the church has knowledge and will dispense it "as needed."

I don't know italian but i know spanish and the subtitles are correct....as much as the organization has been spewing out thiss bull for such a long time, how many people are really buying into it??? All the kids in my old congo able to afford a higher education have gone to get one or are in the process......elders kids, ms kids, etc etc.......

My point is...everyone is responsable here!!! whoever lsitens to a talk like this and doesn't disregard the nonesense..i mean, that illustration about the young guy shooting himself would have made me want to laugh out loud in a convention..even as an active witness.....People choose to swallow the bs or they choose to ignore it and send their kids to college anyways.....

oh yeah, and i{m setting a college fund for my kids right now and they are still in elementary......

I have to agree with you mentalclearness. I didn't complete highschool on my younger years, but I went back to school for 2years JUST to get my grade 12 diploma so I can move from one department to another within the Municipality. NOW I need 2 years college in related coarses to advance to the next job level WITHIN my own department. Save up for that college fund and KEEP them in school. I wish I could have done so years ago. And I applaud those who are going back now!
