    Antimatter huh? Riiiiiight... I would say that suggestion is utterly ridiculous, and that you've been watching too much sci-fi. But (alas), the Watchtower did indeed make that suggestion back in 1960:

    There is no change in their true belief that most of us will be put to death by Almighty God but they who attend the Kingdom Hall and report Field Service hours will be spared. It is true, they are just watering their beliefs down for the public magazine issue so it is more palatable for those newly interested.

    I know not why the WTBTS are against casinos or gambling since they get followers to gamble their whole lives on WT odds with no chance of seeing the WT prize!

    Personally, having gambled my life already leaves me numb to the idea of it and much else considered desireable amongst humanity!

    Apart from impregnating a beautiful woman, I cant see myself rushing into any long term gambling situations!

    Apologires for my last digression - my mind always wonders when I think of the beautiful, talented, intelligent, caring woman I never had - it's my only imaginary escape from my living Armaggedon! And I sometimes see her when I'm out - this godess of my missed years of life!

    Surviving WT Armageddon is no walk in the park as many of you know! But it is something to warn others away from something they needn't go through!

    The WTS teaches that the mark mentioned at Ezekiel 9 is required for survival during Armageddon and the mark is baptism as a jw. These are just weasel words the WTS uses to fool non-jws and jws into thinking that somehow non-jws will survive.

    Millions of humans have and are attuned with the beauties of life and living that was gifted them!

    The idea of being marked is a flawed one and a trick because far more illigical doctrine will be expecting ones belief to adopt it after baptism then before it! How can one commit lifelong to lies one has not already heard?

    That is what they sell you!

    Hey Blondie, I think in view of recent developments this could be considered "old light" in as much as "flee" no longer means to leave BTG and come to "truth".

    This subtle change could be interesting to follow, if you have studied the REV book over the last couple of weeks you will notice that twice it says that there "will be no mass conversion" yet they do not back it up with a scripture.

    And it seems that there is a few conflicting "current truths".

    Was this in the Showcase edition? If so, then chances are that it is a blatant lie. They are telling people that solely to get them into the cult, and they will not put anything in the Showcase edition to scare people away. In fact, they are going to put stuff there to give the illusion of mainstreaming. That will draw more people in.

    However, once they are in, they will start being required to go by the Kool-Aid. That is where the real doctrine is held. If something appears in the Showcase edition and is contradicted by another contemporary article in the Kool-Aid, the witlesses will have to go by what's in the Kool-Aid. That is so they won't have to let themselves be embarrassed by something the public has to know about that will drive them away.

    Lying scumbags.
