In my case, yes. You still could not get my home address without the co-operation of my ISP, and they only do that when law enforcement officials are involved. If I were posting from work, which has several buildings but one default gateway to the internet, you could not determine which building I was in. And then you couldn't find out the computer used, or the user, without the co-operation of the network admin.
