A STUNNINGLY simple question about JOHN 3:16 "For God so Loved the world."

Ps. 2: 1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? 2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, 3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. 4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

    Myelaine,

I cautiously laugh with the Lord on this. Terry constantly attacks the basis of faith of believers, the anointed of God; as if his vanity could somehow stop even one of God's anointed from coming to him.

I do not revel in the judgments however. I do not wish my worst enemy to receive this, Terry included.

Can I remind you of the conversion of Paul, who despised christians and then suggest you keep your judgements to yourself and allow the God you have faith in (if he should exist) to do all the judging that there is to be done.

    You have accused Terry of

    1. Not having the truth in him

    2. Being from his father the devil

    3. You accuse him of lying.

    4. Of being an atheist troll

    5. Of being a reprobate

You make a mockery of what a christian is supposed to be with your unsupported accusation. You know nothing of this man and yet you stand as his judge. And yet the very book you use to support your beliefs condemns a man for doing this. Who really is displaying the characteristics of a hypocrite here?

    dear perry...

I guess there's no need to remind you that there were a lot of bad guys in the Bible that were chosen by God to do His will. As a matter of fact, satan was annointed, God told us this...did God specifically tell us you were annointed? Who's to say that Terry isn't used by God to show us your vanity...

    ...are we fighting?

Beware of the power seekers and those that say are anointed with the Holly Spirit , for they do not as much love this world rather have only love unto themselves.

This passage is thought to be a cryptic referemce to Satan the Devil. From The Message Bible:

Ezekiel 28:11 -19 God's Message came to me: "Son of man, raise a funeral song over the king of Tyre. Tell him, A Message from God, the Master:

"You had everything going for you.
You were in Eden, God's garden. You were dressed in splendor,
your robe studded with jewels: Carnelian, peridot, and moonstone,
beryl, onyx, and jasper, Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald,
all in settings of engraved gold. A robe was prepared for you
the same day you were created. You were the anointed cherub.
I placed you on the mountain of God. You strolled in magnificence
among the stones of fire. From the day of your creation
    you were sheer perfection...
and then imperfection—evil!—was detected in you. In much buying and selling
you turned violent, you sinned! I threw you, disgraced, off the mountain of God.
    I threw you out—you, the anointed angel-cherub.
No more strolling among the gems of fire for you! Your beauty went to your head.
    You corrupted wisdom
by using it to get worldly fame. I threw you to the ground,
sent you sprawling before an audience of kings
and let them gloat over your demise. By sin after sin after sin,
by your corrupt ways of doing business,
you defiled your holy places of worship. So I set a fire around and within you.
It burned you up. I reduced you to ashes. All anyone sees now
when they look for you is ashes,
a pitiful mound of ashes. All who once knew you
now throw up their hands: 'This can't have happened!
    This has happened!'"

Welcome! Here's the passage from Isaiah courtesy of The Message Bible:

Isaiah 14:12 What acomedown this, O Babylon! Daystar! Son of Dawn! Flat on your face in the underworld mud,
    you, famous for flattening nations!

13 -14 You said to yourself,
"I'll climb to heaven. I'll set my throne
over the stars of God. I'll run the assembly of angels
that meets on sacred Mount Zaphon. I'll climb to the top of the clouds.
I'll take over as King of the Universe!"

15 -17 But you didn't make it, did you?
Instead of climbing up, you came down— Down with the underground dead,
down to the abyss of the Pit. People will stare and muse:
"Can this be the one Who terrorized earth and its kingdoms,
turned earth to a moonscape, Wasted its cities,
shut up his prisoners to a living death?"

lol....You are getting very good at this.

It has always been fascinating to see just what drives religious people from the reasonable to the Perry. In my experience, the more insecure the person is, the more strident and virulent their beliefs. There are many reasonable Christians on this Board who are about as distant from Perry's idea of a Christian as one can imagine. Of course, Perry in his deluded insecurity would no doubt not view them as 'true' Christians.

God has spoken to him, what more is there left to say but see "See the Perry, who takes away the sin of the Terry".
