  some of your response could be considered as reasonable argument. The problem is that NO one can argue with God's word, it is perfect. In example, you bring up the question of why would it be fair for ancient christians to die a terrible death if their reward was the same as those with less faith or less acts of loyalty to God.

  Jesus brought this very issue up in his parable of the workers at the vineyard.

  When Jesus stated that just and unjust would be resurrected, it was not his decision, it was Jehovah's. And that's the way it is. He has declared how the 'rules' will apply. In paradise, if we get there, we will be close to disbelief that we're there to begin with, that this issue of deception won't even matter.

  i've never been asked that question. but without thinking too much into it, i would say that is either a prophet who lies or one that is appointed by satan. again, i've never been asked this question.

  but if i apply my 'limited' description to me and my brothers it would not connect.

  First, unless there is evidence that we worship Satan and promote Satan's agenda, you know the rest...

  Many of you have said it, that the internet is full of information to study and learn, for our eyes to be opened.

  Then research this as proof of the Great Tribulation closing in-

  First you must determine that what you call the bible is the word of god, I have done a lot of research and have come to the conclusion that it is not. I do agree with you that there is a lot of "things going on" but that is the nature of our world, the fight for domination we can see this everywhere in every time period even before humans. Finding prophecies in the bible is very easy because of all the symbology an ambiguities, that's why the WT has "new light", just the "generation will not pass" can mean so many things. Every world power has came to an end.

  it's not my plan, it's Jehovah's. Like i stated earlier, many here (perhaps you as well) are avid internet researchers. Research this topic and you will see that this is not some crazy hypthesis.

  but why would it be, since Jehovah declared it all from the very beginning?

  Something like ... oh, to mislead people from the true worship of God? To prevent as many people from gaining Salvation?

  Something like that? He's a tricky one, that Satan.

  Let me ask you this simple question: Do you KNOW you have Salvation? If so, how?

  If you left the WTBTS ... would you still have your Salvation?

  I was a JW for nine years (never disfellowshipped), but I disassociated after researching these and other questions.

  I admire your courage to stay and chat with us. The organization labels us apostates, but that's only because we don't agree on certain doctrines - at least for many of us, it's not because we don't believe in God. Just that the WTBTS is not God's Organization on Earth.

  Forgive me - one more thing ... what is your feelings about the WTBTS being associated with the UN for ten years?

  Malkiel, I'm just wondering how long you've been a JW. You remind me of someone here who just started studying to become a JW a few weeks before joining the board. He was convinced of the rightness of his views and came to JWD to do "research" on apostates in order to be better at refuting their positions. He was asking well meaning questions publicly but laughing in derision privately - he told me that himself.

  then 'technically' you are still my brother, right?

  What you described as Satan's agenda makes sense. More to the direct center of that agenda though is (in my own words) a clear and unrooting oposition to Jehovah.

  Satan has to be in opposition to Jehovah in all thinkable and possible ways, that is the burden he decided for himself.
