Wave your freak flag. Be abnormal. Tell them you'll be their little gossip fodder.

    I like it FH Now

I do understand whee Cog is coming from. When you are the only one in a family that does not practice something, anything,, you can be almost believing that you are in the wrong. Thats human nature and group psychology. You just have to remember that it is them that are the minority....

When in company at an assembly their arguments can almost appear logical if you stick onto their way of thinking, following their premises. You have to break the chain of thought, throw in an argument that is "out of the box" that they have not considered - then you can get on to real discussion. They have you on the back foot if you discuss within their terms.

    Hi Honey,

I would just do the small talk just like you would normally do with your family at an assembly.

How often did you speak of spiritual things before? Probably not very often. Our family just

caught up on family things and what was happening in our lives. Well, you have a lot of things

that you probably would not want to talk about, but all the other things like work, where you went

for dinner, etc. Don't think of it as a big deal and you will be more relaxed.

I know it will work out if you just treat it as a normal thing and not as a confrontation.

    Love and hugs,

    Velta
