FINALLY FREE- Yeah, I hear you. Women have lots of ways to make you feel like less of a man. My first JW wife thought after 18 years it would be good to be spiritual- and stop having sex ! Needless to say I looked for opportunities to miss meetings so I could pleasure myself instead ! LOL!

OOMPA- Sorry your wife did that to you. But I like the recommendation in your final comment to " Live LONG and prosper. " I have certainly done that with my current wife.

WITNESS 007- It's good your wife smashed the frying pan on your car- instead of your head ! Could have been worse ! I'm happy for you she got out of the cult too in time !

SACOLTON- " Man Chowder " ? LOL! Oh- just say it out loud ! LOL! SEMINAL FLUID !!! LOL! Peace out, Mr. Flipper of the ( Not trying to be subtle class. )

While my wife (now ex) was never physical she made it clear that she did not approve of my actions. She also made it clear that my not going to meetings was reflective of a weak spirit and she dispised that. She viewed me as a pathetic spiritual weakling with a character flaw when what she wanted was a strong christian husband that would take the spiritual lead.

When she came back from meetings she would have a attitude of "spiritual superiority" and just made my life miserable.

We fought every minute of every day from the minute I woke up to the minute I went to sleep. This went on for 10 years.

NY44M, that really sucks. Such a haughty attitude for a JW who is supposed to be "lowly in mind". I don't think I could take the mental abuse.

NEWYORK 44M- I hear what you are saying about your former JW wife ! My ex-wife , a JW, also told me I was not a proper spiritual head as well ! She constantly told me , " well you are my head, you should be doing this or that ! " Drove me nuts for 19 years as well. Many times I felt like saying, " You have a head on your own shoulders, use it. " Glad you have some peace now NEW YORK .

MOMINAUSTIN- Glad you are being entertained ! LOL!

SACOLTON- It truly does cause a hell of a lot of stress in a marriage when one spouse pressures another to " reach out" , or " do more " in the witnesses. It makes you feel like you can never please your wife ! And for a man- that is the loneliest feeling of all ! Peace out, Mr.Flipper
