If almost everyone who dies at Armageddon is going to be resurrected, doesnt that basically make the preaching work now irrelevant?
Also, if I am going to be resurrected anyway, why not just have a blast now and clean up in the new system?
Also, I disagree that I would make a different choice regarding taking the "mark" and giving up sex. I have ethics that override my desire for sex in a great number of areas. I do not lie to get sex for instance is a simple example.
When faced with an ethical question such as what is the most just government for the earth for eternity, my sexual desires will be sublimated under much more powerful moral imperitives. I know this to be true, because it happens in my life now.
As you may have seen from my other posts, my sexual desire is not my main driving issue, it is fairness. The strongest drive in my body is justice. When faced with that bigger issue, I don't think you could safely assume I would choose to take the mark just to safe my life.
Now, if witnesses presented this as the issue, the eventual taking or not taking of the "mark" and showing how a life of faith prepared you for this, instead of breaking up families over differing beliefs and sexual picadillos, they might begin to have the basis for a logical Godly judicial system.
