    Missed my 6 mile walk last night due to weather (thunderstorms/lightning, not good walking conditions!), and it was the same this morning, but it started clearing out around eleven. Took off at 12:15 and decided to see if I could do the six miles in 1:30 instead of the 1:50-2:00 it's been taking me (best time before today was 1:46).

    I would walk for a bit, then run (with a visual target in the distance to not stop before), then walk, then run, rinse and repeat. As I was getting closer to home, I saw I had about 20 minutes left to make the goal, and was afraid I'd go a minute or two over, so I pushed REALLY HARD and got home, not in 1:30, but in 1:28! Shaved 18 minutes (3 min/mile) off my previous best time!! But I could tell I'd pushed hard, I was dripping wet, whereas the walks from the past few days haven't left me feeling overly exerted.

    The best part? Got on the scale when I got back, before my cooling-down shower, and found I've lost THIRTEEN POUNDS in the past two weeks, since I started this regimen!! YAY!!! Thanks, to all of you, for supporting this thread... it's helping me keep on track.

    I did 2.5 mph, 30 min, 5% incline.

    My stamina has built from 20 min at 2 mph at 0% incline.

    Just got back from the Y.

    Treadmill

    5% incline

    2.5 mph

    30 min.

    Calories burned (not counting all of the calories I'll burn throughout the day and night because of jacked up metabolism): 186.

    I must be retaining water because I went from 161 back to the original 165 over night. Weird

    My goal to fix it is to drink more water. I keep water bottles chilled in the fridge and refill them from the tap as soon as I empty them.

    Later today, I'm going back to do CWT and then later yet for one last 1/2 hour on the treadmill.

    My goal: To turn my body into a fat burning machine and get it to it's potential in health, strength, and beauty. We've all got unbelievable potential. Let's tap it!

    That's fantastic! You're doing your own boot camp for yourself.

    I found what you did, that if I push myself harder, it won't kill me and I'll feel like I accomplished a good part of my goal.

    I found in the past two weeks that I've gotten quicker results the more I push myself.

    WAY TO GO!!! WOO HOO!!!!!!!

    So, what's your plan of action for today? If you post a plan, we will expect you to do it

    That's why I post a plan and then come back afterwards and report it as completed.

    I just have to have others to be accountable to if I'm ever going to succeed in reaching my goals.

    My goal for this week M-F is to do cardio 1 hour every day (split up into two sessions) and CWT every other day, NO EXCUSES!

    After cheating this weekend, gained 5 pounds!

    Today did an hour on the Arc Trainer, level 8 Weight Loss program, burned 1240 calories. Tonight I will do some kettlebell lifting. Got some yoga dvds coming in the mail. I need to do that to get some flexibility.

    I am not doing well witht he exercise thing. I am still eating properly but losing weight slowly so I need to exercise. But it HURTS. I will go on the treadmill today and report back in.

    I did four days of Jazzercise last week, each an hour class. One class was step and kicked my butt but I'm going back. Five classes this week! Whoo Haw!!

    I've got to get started again. I started dieting/exercise in February and I have lost 30 pounds. This past week I have been naughty (Lots of social events and visitors) I have actually gained 2 pounds this week! I must get busy ASAP!
