I've seen both Todd and Oingo Boingo play at little clubs in the San Fernando Valley. Steve Bartek (guitarist of Oingo Boingo) was a year ahead of me at Taft High School in Woodland Hills. He played in the school Jazz band and once was able to talk the Principle into letting him do a "rock and roll show" in the Senior Quad at lunchtime with a few of his friends from the Jazz band. Music was freakin' HOT! He was a real nut too. Great entertainer.
