Wow ! Thanks for all the replies guys and gals ! So many I can't reply individually , however thanks for the U-tubes ! I'll watch every one of them.
JK- Small side note . I'm a huge Robbie Robertson fan ! I've got most all his stuff - love that song " Somewhere Down the Crazy River " . Years ago I taped that video you put on here off of VHS-1 on a VHS tape ! Like in 1988 ! Still have it ! Have you heard Robbie Robertsons CD " Music for the Native Americans " put out in 1994 or 1995 ? It is fantastic - a mix of Native American music mixed with rock n' roll! It's actually my favorite CD from him ! Check it out sometime ! Peace out, Mr. Flipper
I recently got a new car and subscribed to XM Radio. My top three stations are the 70s, 80s and 90s. Some of the stuff you hear on those stations brings you way back!
One of my all time 80s favorites: Rick Springfield! OMG was he hot on General Hosptal (the show I had to sneak to watch cause it was a *gasp* soap opera). Rick still tours and I saw him not to long ago at a county fair. He has fun music and puts on an entertaining show.

"Somewhere Down The Crazy River":
I was a big fan of "The Band". I remember recording this for a gf of mine who loved Depeche Mode, The Cure, Tom Petty. I thought I had her tastes dialed. She hated it. Just another lesson in humility for me. That whole of album of his was good!
PURZA- Yeah, lots of ladies liked Rick Springfield- probably for a lot more than his music ! LOL!
AMICUS- Yeah, I hear ya ! I had ex-girlfriends who were hard to please musically at times too ! LOL! But I agree the album that has " Somewhere Down the Crazy River " on it is just brilliant ! Great music on it. Robbie Robertson even does a duo with Bono of U2. Good stuff ! Peaceout, Mr. Flipper
Flip,
I am a big Robbie Robertson fan.
I right now am somewhere down that Crazy River.
I will see you in less than a week.

Sprinsteen "dancing in the dark" my Favorite
Favourite of us males is "Candys Room". Don't mean to speak for others or anything like that...but damn.
I think most Clash fans sing their kids to sleep at night with the lullaby "Charlie don't surf, but I think he should...."
JK- I will catch you " somewhere down that crazy river " at Tahoe next week bro. Rest well till then.
AMICUS- Parents putting kids to sleep with Clash ? That is funny ! LOL! Peace out, Mr. Flipper
