Ok this is difficult because I was supposed to be someone in the 80's. Unfortunately drugs got in the way. Name a band and I probably opened for them. We had an opportunity and we blew it. It was hard at first because I would watch MTV and see my friends. So here's a list of bands that influenced me. Iggy Pop New York Dolls Sex Pistols Ramones Black Sabbath The clash Stranglers Wire Led Zeppelin Joy Division Siouxie and the Banshees Roxy Music Japan (actually 70's but I have to site them, there were 60's bands I dug but perhaps another thread)and I have a longer list to name 80's: King Gene loves Jezebel Duran Duran Power Station REM B52's and there was this whole seen with the 2 tone movement. And of course a way long list
