By how it was presented on our local radio, it's interesting that in wider coverage that information is omitted. I'm not making too much of this however, you get idiots in all sectors of society and these are just a small number of minor incidents. The problem is they are increasing.

I know Luton quite well, i am there every week, it is ethnically diverse and has a large student population too. I saw no real indication that radical islam was the problem here. I fail to see how this helps our discsussion.

Peppermint - Something that has been noticed by a lot of people on the news reports on TV and Radio and even newspapers is that they tend to OMIT the race of a person who is arrested or suspected of committing a crime if they happen to be black or asian. However, this can do none of us a service.
The fatal stabbings in London have been mainly and ALMOST completely carried out by black young people and yet the press will not point this out.
Surely, the police can only target offenders if they look for a particular 'type' instead of targeting everyone else just to appear politically correct.
It feels that the Muslims are being demonised BUT, in a bizarre and obscure way, because race in general is claimed to be irrelevant to crime, or tendencies of behaviour. Once we start going down the politically correct path we begin to demonize everyone and people's speech is curtailed and ability to call a spade a spade disappears just so that we do not 'offend' anyone.
This is why Britian is now on its way down the toilet!......with a vengenance!

The Jordanian courts have ruled to admit a complaint of several Muslim organisations against Dutch MP Geert Wilders, the author of the short film: Fitna. The mian two reasons were that the movie was insulting for Islam and Mohammed and that Wilders was inciting hatred. He is summoned to appear before the Jordanian Judge within 15 days. If he refuses to go he is threatened to face an international warrant (interpol)for his arrest and extradition to Jordan.
It is a very interesting move of a Jordanian Judge to clothe himself with global jurisdiction and effectively placing the whole world under sharia law and crushing a country's sovereignty on the way. Effectively it would mean that any one person or government resisting Islam, or critical of Islam will have to face a foreign tribunal who gives a damn about democracy and freedom of speech, movement and expression.
Of course, it remains to be seen what eventually will happen, but this development poses an immediate threat to everything that represents the escape from the barbaric dark ages and religious abuse.

Borgia - The 'Nation of Israel' of 'the Jews' have a similar power in that they can prosecute those who deny the Holocaust.
Freedom of thought, expression and belief only exists for those with certain religious beliefs.......and everyone else can go to Hell......or Jail even!
