Dispite their popularity, christians should rethink their stand on fridges. Firstly, they used by jesus and first century christians. Neither did god's chosen people of old use them.
Let's examine the theory behind fridges in more detail. Some may claim that they use them primarily to cool foods and beverages making them more refreshing. I this their primary function? Hardly! The idea is basically the storage of food for longer periods of time. Let us look at how jehovah fed his name people under the leadership of the patriarch, moses.
Jehovah made manna settle on the land every night. Starting in the morning, the israelites were to collect only what they needed for that day. Amassing for the following day was discouraged by moses, and it was thwarted by jehovah, by making it go bad. So there you have it, brothers, a teaching drama directly from jehovah through his direct representative moses, on the earth at the time.
Jesus filfilled and promoted a similar daily reliance on god. He pronounced 'give us THIS DAY our daily bread'. No fridge for him, sisters. Rather than selfishly hoarding vittles within a fridge, he encourages us to store up treasures in heaven, where fridges are not needed. Heavenly, eternal shelf life manna is there to be had.
Some without understanding may conclude that jesus was advocating reverting to hunter gatherer status. Not so. Christians have jehovah as their helper, and can thus do as their master jesus did, confidently reap where they did not sow, harvest where they did not plant. Christians w a divinely guided conscience will make wise use of kitchen space, every day.
