Which diseases are spread by hair?

Would be easier to list what can't be spread by infected hair.

Name some that are, especially life threatening diseases.

Ok, I'm not a doctor, but influenza is an obvious one.

If you can name some potentially deadly diseases that are spread by hair and they are not rare diseases, but common, then I change my mind a little in this circumtance, I may allow for some psychological damages.

I am not sure about Influenza, I don't doubt you, it is just I don't know much about that. Influenza is also spread by contact with people, so there really isn't much you can do except get a flu shot or avoid people.

Good morning JD. It seems the debate was not over when I went to bed. I enjoyed your "lawerly" point of view and the insight into the system.

Anyhoooo...I loved "The Rainmaker", and all of John Grisham's books. I collect them. You might really enjoy "The KIng of Torts" as well.

John Doe, I can't believe I am going to use this phrase, but there is something called personal responsibility. How about if you go out to a restaurant where several people are going to be handling your food, you have to be willing to expect an occasional fly or hair? If you really had a psychological aversion to pubic hair that strong, why would you take a chance on it? I understand what you are saying about safety standards being increased because of monetary concerns, but by the same token, the cost of insurance has become detrimental to society.

Beks, I wasn't really advocating suing because of a pubic hair. The point I was trying to make is that there is a line between what is frivolous and what is not, and it is not easy to define just where that line is. I agree that we intuitively know that a person does not have a legitimate claim for a pube in their food. However, just how do you define what is legiitmate?
