That is my whole point in all my posts this morning.

Disagreeing with someone is one thing, but using rude, vicious terms and all the other crap that not just a few, but quite alot of extremists have used not only against me but others. If I didn't stand up now, I would always regret speaking my mind.

I did no such thing. I alleged that you were ignorant, something that you seemed more than happy to demonstrate, going well beyond the confines of the subject being discussed to display your ignorance in several unrelated fields.

You do make it so easy. But you're right, it's not fair to the people of your country or region to assume that just because you personify the stereotype, that everyone who is from your area is the same. Not everyone in your country, or in your region is as ignorant or as small-minded as you.

Can you discuss Atheism without resorting to this?

I thought we were discussing evolution. You were the first person to mention atheism in this thread. (Deputy Dog's copypasta did include the word "atheists" but the whole post was largely ignored.)

Or when someone does make a valid point, is the only way out of it is to mock them call them bible thumpers, bigots, etc etc etc.

Who is this someone to whom you refer? Not yourself, I hope as you haven't even come close to making a valid point.

Ok, but the point could be made clear without using the insult 'vicious jerks'. Using these easy labels doesn't make your point more attractive for those holding other views.

Besides, I think there's a difference between embracing facts about your regions and accepting personal low blows. The stats I mentioned weren't uncalled for, they were the reply to a very unevidenced bold claim on a link between evolution and crime you seemingly agreed with. If you can show me stats showing the opposite, I'll consider them.

Purplesofa, I have met many decent people from here, I haven't met you, so i will reserve any judgement and will refrain from innuendo until I meet you in person and you prove otherwise.

We lost alot of posters on here, but most of them were good riddance, and the decent ones we did lose did not see all the anguish Simon faced from a certain segment of JWD.

furthermore, I am a decent, law abiding, citizen. Nobody will tell me otherwise. Just because a certain element of JWD is so against me because I happen to agree with the great majority of people in this country on many different subjects does not make me a bad person. Childish punks who posted their porno spam and tried to disrupt this board, they are good riddance and those that stuck up for them, well either they were misinformed or they are more like them in the first place.

You can travel this country far and wide, and the majority of people I have ever been in contact with have nothing to say but positive things about me--JW's even included.
