As US citizens we have the right to bear arms. In the beggining that law was provided, not to protect us from each other but to protect us from the newly stablished government, being that in the old world people were oppressed by their rulers, we didn't want this to happen in the new world. Thats nonsense. An armed people cannot be tyrannized against their will. This remains more true today, with superior hand weapons, than when the Constitution was drafted. The Warsaw ghetto was able to hold out against the might of the Nazi Wehrmacht for many weeks with nothing more than a few hand weapons.

Individual effort is the only way. Great leaders do, and inspire many to live with great heart. Entire nations have been turned around, no-violently. Pay it forward.
The opposite is no trust, no faith in others to behave as they should. Every man for himself. That way is anarchy and violence.
