Well minimus, the greek noun rendered "truth" can actually be loosely translated as "change". Furthermore, the greek noun rendered "free" is perhaps better understood as "spiritually occupied". Therefore, when Jesus said "you will know the truth, and truth will set you free", he actually meant "you will know change, and change will keep you spiritually occupied". So you see brother, you need to keep up with present change, er, truth, and learn to wait in Joe Hober to reveal accurate understandings which typically have a 10-year shelf life, at which point they must be replaced. On second thoughts, don't think about it at all. Just keep your mind occupied by having as full a share as possible in the Kingdumb Preaching Joke!

    1. Old Light

    2. New Light

    3. Future Light

Truth is only as fresh as the date on the publication.

As a JW would say, "Would you eat old bread (Old Light)? Of course not! You eat bread that is prepared recently (New Light). Now, eventually, that bread (New Light) will go stale and you'll need fresh bread (Future Light). That fresh bread (Future Light) will replace your current bread (New Light)."

    Truth never changes.

We were taught that to lack trust in or question the GB was the same as lacking trust in or questioning God. And if we did that, we would lose out on everlasting life. So any doubts were pushed down deep and we attempted to ignore them. I've seen a bit of panic in the eyes of one person I've tried to talk to. I think it's because, deep down, she has doubts too. Why feel panic if you are fully convinced of something?

    w60 2/15 p.104 How Does God’s Spirit Operate Today?***

    OPERATES

    ON ORGANIZATION

In the first century it took the apostles and God’s spirit to explain the deep things of God’s Word. As it operated through the Christian organization then, so it does today. "It is to us God has revealed them through his spirit, for the spirit searches into all things, even the deep things of God." (1 Cor. 2:10) These deep things are being made known by the holy spirit through the theocratic organization of Jehovah’s witnesses. As those who are responsible for supplying spiritual food for God’s people diligently search the Scriptures for accurate knowledge, the spirit broadens their understanding little by little. Thus, in a gradual way, the light of understanding of God’s Word grows brighter and brighter as we draw closer to the divinely set date for Armageddon.

"The brothers are imperfect. The fact that they change PROVES we are humble and have the TRUTH."

    Craziness, indeed.

    The light gets brighter

Also using words like "adjustment" and "clarification" doesn't have the same idea as "change."

    Just BS by another term.
