I quit!
I already had Thanksgiving on Sunday at my sisters. But we are doing it again tomorrow. We never start cooking till Thanksgiving morning

I'm almost delirious in anticipation of those sweet potato pies!

I used to do everything from scratch. This year I'm making a bit earier for myself. I'm gonna start my greens tonight and make a carrot cake (frosted with *gasp* frosting from a container ). Tomorrow I'll make the stuffing, Stove Top cornbeard, it's pretty good and I tend to add quite a bit to it, beside only me and the hubby eat it plus I don't stuff my bird, and mac and cheese (yeah that will be from scratch). Today I'm going out to buy a couple of pies and gravy that I will gussy up. No candied yams with raisins in bourban sauce this year, hubby loves it but says his stomach isn't up to it.

Girl, don't apologize for taking a shortcut. Pepperidge Farm also makes a good cornbread stuffing mix.
My kids and g'kids are still all aflutter over my accident, and I do nothing to discourage them.
