Par 4 - Subheading "Jehovah Trusts the Slave"
After quoting Ps32:8 (OT)"I shall certainly make you have insight..", the paragraph claims that Jehovah provides direction to the slave, stating "We can therefore have full confidence in the Scriptural insight, understanding and guidance that we receive from the slave."
Par 5 then goes on to claim "Jehovah also blesses his slave class with his holy spirit."
The WTS is really starting to labour the point that the FDS is a class and it's only the class as a whole that has Jehovah's guidance and spirit, not individuals in the class. The explain in Par 3 that the FDS class has been appointed over the 'anointed' and that the 'anointed' should have confidence in the class. They are getting worryingly close to being completely ridiculous in their explanation of Jesus' parable....
This should be compared and contrasted with May 15th 2007 WT pg31, "genuine anointed Christians do not demand special attention. They do not believe that their being of the anointed gives them special insights..".
So, individual anointed Christians do not have special insight from Jehovah or his spirit. Only the slave class can make such a claim. This 2009 article, IMO, is moving ever closer to the 'new light' that the FDS is in fact the Governing Body. (Which we knew all along.)

Hi PWP..
According to this post, one well known speaker already announced that the FDS is the GB. Maybe they just slipped that in so later, when they flip flop they can say.."oh that's old light...you just weren't keeping up!"

The Watcthower makes a lot of statemenst and quotes from the Bible, but where is the proof?
They have nothing but empty words.

Honesty
9 years away from meetings
4 years and 2 months officially "Disassociated"
After reading and comparing 'New Light' and 'Old Light' I have to ask myself...
How did I ever believe any of the JW crap?
Was I that stupid?

What never ceases to stun me about these articles is the lack of actual evidence and scriptures to prove their claims.

Well, then why did they fail so many predictions about the end? Why did they tell people to sell out, skip college, and pio-sneer to "wisely use these last few months"? Why did they tell people that "if you don't use the last few months of time wisely now, you won't have any time later"? And 1976 came along, and they had to blame the people that heeded that advice for the trouble it led to.

I can't help but get the impression that they're turning up the volume because more and more JWs are tuning them out.

Wasn't there an article (wt or km?) in the recent past where they said some of the annointed (dead jw's) were still helping to direct the 'slave'? Which is it? Jah needs help from the dead annointed or he is doing it by himself? and, if the dead annointed are helping to 'direct' how can a jw not see this as necromancy?

Yep.
Ever notice how many times "Matthew 24:45-47" (you know, the one Biblical reference to a "faithful and discreet slave") is cited in the study articles now? By my rough impression, I'd say 2 or 3 times per magazine, certainly over half the articles that are studied.
They're beginning to sound shrill, if not desperate.
