I live in the best state in the best country, probably one of the most beautiful places imaginable.
But I still feel like I belong in Ireland. I've never been, and I do account for the fact that I have likely romanticized the place to a great extent. But knowing that, in an altogether rational way, whenever I see it, it looks comfortable to me. Probably because green rainy places are familiar to me. Less trees though.
I always think that if they would have me, I could live there, sight unseen and enjoy a life there. I enjoy my life HERE too. Go figure.
Having originally lived in the Northeast and being here in South Florida for over 10 years, I really can't think of another part of the country I would rather live in. It was 84 degrees today and it's fun to watch the news with the crazy weather up north !!!

I know I will be moving someplace- Indiana is not tax friendly for retirees and this 12 inches of snow is not friendly, either. I'll probably move back to Florida soon. My old KH is in Florida and even though it's been 20 years, I'm pretty sure they would take up a collection to pay for me to move someplace else!
