The problem with the Brits is that ever since the middle age they have kept thinking that they deserve France more than the French do.
Haha Aligot, that's possibly down to those Frenchmen who became the Plantagenets. I love France and definitely wouldn't mind living there. My best friend has a place in Casteljaloux and I visit him often. Obviously you're right what you said in the other thread about some of these old quotes not standing the test of time. Napoleon Bonaparte said we were a nation of shop keepers but it's more like a nation of shop-lifters now.
Country I'd most like to live in btw would be Tuscan Italy.

I want to live in Kate's Cottage on the Isle of Man. At least during the TT.

I LOVE the big cities. NYC, Miami, Vegas.....If I don't have a Store 24 around, I get antsy.

Depends on my mood...
There are times that I want to live on my own island away from everything. Only by boat or helicopter to get to my sanctuary.
Then there are times I want to live in the mountains..in a cabin.
Then I've wanted to live in the Keys and own a bar.
Then I thought about leaving the country and living in Scotland in a small town in the Highlands.
Then I wake up and realize that I really do like calling NC home, despite it's rising taxes and influx of Yankees.

That's the problem...too many great places to live.
Actually if I was a multi-multi-millionaire, I'd travel all around the world for most of the year every year. See as much as possible.
