Oh many times, even though I was a model JW, they just can't resist. Interrogated many times as a 14,15 and 16 year old girl in front of tree dirty old men wanting to know if there was anything sexually inappropriate going on (never was, but boy did they like to question). Then as I got older my mother in law would take me to the elders for any little disagreement we had, like not telling her first what color my wedding party dresses were going to be. Still can't seem to acquire warm fuzzy feeling for her. Also called in the back room many many times because of the busy bodies that you are forced to spend time alone with in a car group twice a week that just can't seem to resist running to the elders about every detail of a conversation from 2 months ago. Or my favorite was the false accusation from an anonymous tipster, how the hell do you argue that one?

I had an anonymous tipster make an accusation at me. When approached I refused to answer unless they came up with 2 or more witnesses. Despite the threat that if 2 or witnesses coming forward would likely end as a df'ing because of my attitude, I stuck to my guns and sure enough, nothing came out of it. I remember the elders used to throw false details at people to see if they would crack.

My husband got hauled in back there because of ME!! They told him ,"to get me in line". Why, you may ask? When I was approached about 2 matters by the elders I told them I will dress the way I see ft and I will not join the Theocratic MIN School. They wanted me to wear high heels(they hurt my feet) and the latter speaks for itself. I also told them,"Its not open to discussion".

I was brought back once when I was about 16 with my father be my side, I had @ 3/4 of an inch of hair over my ears and one of the elders

told me I wasn't allowed to give any more talks or go out in service until my hair was cut above my ear.

I think a said something about why did Jesus have long hair and a beard as it was pictured in a Watchtower magazine.

The answer I got was that was because that was the normal and acceptable length in ancient times but its not the acceptable way to day.

Well the more I started to look at things the WTS. was pruning men to be acceptable to the WTS. as one of their marketable publishers.

( clean cut and shaved is more marketable as a salesmen for appearances )

A man's heart condition and righteousness shouldn't be measured by the length of his hair or if he has a beard or not.......ummmm

My last trip was Jan 13..... for correcting a comment..... I was being 'haughty in my display of WTS knowledge'.

Ynot....you deserved a PRIZE for it!

Yes. I was a teenager. It was a scene very much like the one in the movie "Worlds Apart". Very chilling for me to watch. I highly recommend seeing this film for anyone who has had the experience of leaving the religion. In the Los Angeles area you can view it on cable, On Demand, IFC movies. Pay the $5.99. See it.
