It looks like our political commentators are going to have to be very careful how they frase their words and make their case now. Like walking on egg shells. Maybe it will bring back some decency and decorum. The problem is that now is a great time for open and critical dialogue. For so long now, politicos have been able to throw around degrading slurs to make their points. It's going to be a rough journey for them. Stereotypes will have to go.

I see that the paper has issued a lukewarm apology.
This should serve as a warning to any commentators who are inclined to pander to the baseness that makes up our nature.

It's not about being a gentleman; it's not about political correctness.
It's about the cartoonist and his shocking insensitivity to the pain the recalling of such a hateful legacy would cause to others.
Since the election of Barack Obama, there is a palpable ugliness in the air.

Well i am an obama man, but only for healthcare reform hopes.......I only read the first post or two....but i laughed kinda at myself as i never even THOUGHT about Obama when i saw the cartoon.....i thought about all the congressmen and other idiots that worked on it.....heck i bet Obama nor any other individual had ever even read the entire thing........it was written by a bunch of monkeys/idiots prob.......but i really dont know cause i have not read it either.......................i hope it helps but i doubt it....i wish the money had been given out to all of us in coupons that could only be used to either start a business, hire new employees, or buy only USA made products.....................oompa
i think my idea would help the economy more.............
