Lets not go to deep into this subject. Just for that 1% who are indeed wacko and for those who take the ideas into action, or at least seriously thinking about it. You don't want to give them ideas!

think there are some really angry and disturbed JW's, even some ex-dubs who come out and are as mad as hell. That sounds like a bigger possibility to me.

People have already bombed Kingdom Halls and burned them down.

And: I have noticed that the WT propaganda machine is running full time, therefore sucking up more weary and tired souls (I still have family in the "Truth").

The course the WT is going, is really gonna piss off more and more people. They really have me super pissed-off. But,, rest assured, I'm not the kind of guy that goes around bombing or anything like that.

I have seen though that some are not like that, so that the possibilty of an incident taking place at the WT headquarters and branch offices is definitely increasing.

I'll toss my 2 cents in that I feel this topic is a dangerously inappropriate one.

The WT's neutral stance on the world scene makes it an unlikely target for any such disasters. The only likely scenario would be from people upset and pissed off to do something irrational.

Since this board represents the largest number of collective former Witnesses and others who have been hurt by this cult, such a speculative discussion is not in our best interests.

I am continually impressed that despite the hurt and anger that many here have, they have managed to pull themselves together and rise above it all without feeling the need to resort to violent acts.

I wouldn't want top wish any harm on my worse enemy let anlone the JW's. However, tagging onto what Tr said ... I am surprised that no one disgruntled or otherwise hasdn't gone into bethel and either shot up the place or left a package in the restrooms. TR .... don't get any ideas!

Don't know where you are going with this, mindchild. Firstly, you are asking for mere speculation. One of the great benefits for me leaving DubLand was that I was able to shed myself of the habit of speculating about stuff.

Secondly, consider what dubbies reading your post might think. While I think my friend Kismet went a bit overboard in his comments, I do agree that speculating about WTS disasters is no different than dubbies speculating about the WTC or Armageddon. Aren't we supposed to be a cut above them in not dwelling on adversity befalling them, like they dwell on the opposite of that to us?

Surely you have more important things to dwell upon!

Let's just say...that the headquarters was destroyed, what then? I think that is a good question to put out. How much of this religion is based on the big boys there? Will the other branch offices be able to come together and hold this religion? How many who left will be frightened into returning. How many in will be frightened to leave?

I don't think the intent of this post was to say what ways can we destroy Brooklyn, but what if Brooklyn was destroyed? I may be wrong about that, but that is what it sounded like to me from the initial post. I think it is a valid question, and would love to hear any comments.

I've never been to the east coast, let alone NY. But hey, I've always wanted to visit 'hovah HQ.

Although I do have some concern that this thread might be viewed as some type of conspiracy... ahhh what the hell, I still think the idea of what the 'hovahs would do in the event of a disaster at HQ is an interesting one.

"Oh My GOD, It's Armagedon!" When it proved not to be the spin would be that it was Satan attacking "God's Organization" because of the "good works" they were doing, it would be seen as a sign of God's approval.

I agree with wazhisname, The Society really isn't much of a target, especially in a target rich environment like NYC.

I find nothing what so ever offensive about this thread.
We are free to think and speculate as much as we want now that we have given up following men,(at least most of us have).

My back round in explosives(from age 11 to present) could make me very dangereous if I wanted to be.

But I'm a peaceful guy and find a great deal of delight in life and letting other mke their own choices.

While I love to expose the WT, I feel no driving hatred.

True some hatred consumed individual could get ideas from this post but it's only ideas and we all have the right to think and feel what ever we want.
The internets very nature is, ideas and information dispensing.
You can use the internet to find information that is very dangereous in the wrong hands, but nothing we can do it's already out there.
