When Someone Was Appointed To A Position Did You Question Holy Spirit?

  uh yes...especially after they appointed me... then I knew it was a scam.

  I can relate to that. I was made an MS at an exceptionally early age. I was shocked when they approached me about it. I often wondered why the Holy Spirit allowed me to be "chosen" when I had some of the same "secret sins" that most people my age had.

  Over time, I kinda rationalized that this particular bad habit wasn't maybe as bad as some elders and talks kept pointing out. Hey, I was appointed, right?

  But then later I saw a "brother" who was appointed an elder and I knew that he had no business ever being considered. At that point I realized (finally) that Holy Spirit appointments were bogus.

  And what's up with some 17 year old "men" being appointed as Mini servants? They're not MEN! They are still teenage boys.

  Jehover's Holy-Moly Spirit appointed me as a MS despite a chronic "self abuse" problem.

  I guess Jehover can't see through window shades.

  I didn't think much of it then... as a young man in the bOrg, I was craving the 'title' and 'respect' that came with it, and it was also what was expected of me. But I never thought I was appointed by holy spirit. In fact, it is one of the things I mentioned to my mother, that I was a perfect example of how the 'holy spirit' has no bearing on the congo's appointments.
