As well as adultery, what about premeditated murder, the org used to say, he was not stoned because he was repentant.

I am sure there was many others who were just as sorry, but there is no record of them being forgiven.

If a law exists!, it should apply to all, that was another problem area hard to understand.

Actually under the Law the punishment for adultery and/or murder was death by stoning. Yes, David sidestepped this somehow. I wonder how many other Jews though found no out and were killed during that same time period? Their child died and David's wives were raped publicly to punish DAVID for taking another man's wife.

My favorite side stepped sin of David was the census. Damnit david I told you not to count those people, now Ima go and kill a bunch of them (ironically requiring another count to see how many god killed.) David you go sit in the corner and think about what you did and all the people I have to kill, because of what you did.

What about Jehovah getting disfellowshipped for stealing innocent people's livelihoods? That has been going on ever since He had Israel settle into Canaan, driving out inhabitants that were just minding their own business and did not need that Almighty Lowlife Scumbag running their lives. Throughout the history of Israel, they have been attacking nations for the heinous crimes of not observing Jehovah.

I wonder what would have happened if Islam would have started a few years earlier. I would have liked to had that happen--because Islam and Christianity's predecessors would have wiped each other out, leaving Canaanites alone.

The Watchtower society teaches that David never was fully punished because he was repentant. Maybe they should instead of shunning people by disfellowshipping them they should apply the Bible principle of forgiveness.

Some elders I know might prefer these though: Punish the guilty one's family!

Commit adultery? Your wife gets raped in public by the elders to make YOU pay.

Count the number of partakers at the memorial? Your family is injected with a flu-bug by the elders.

Not meeting your obligatory 10 hour minimum in field circus? Your kids all get molested by the elders until your next month's service report comes in.
