    1 Corinthians 8:6
yet for us there is but oneGod, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but oneLord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.

this scripture explains it better than I can.

Ok, that scripture does explain it. We have Jesus as being the one Lord. Bu I'm confused....Didn't Thomas refer to Jesus as 'ho theos', the God [of me]? So if there's only one God, and you say he isn't Jesus, then Jesus should have rebuked Thomas for saying he was his God.

    Mysteriously, he didn't...

OK, how many saviours are there? Isaiah says there's only one; YHWH. (Isa 43:10). That must mean the writers of the New Testament weren't inspired by God, because they wrote that Jesus is our Saviour - Titus 1:4, Tit 3:6, 2 Pet 1:1. 2 Pet 1:11, 2 Pet 2:20, 1 John 4:14.

Again, we seem to have a disparity between who you say the Lord God and Saviour of us all is, and who the 1st C Christians said he was.

@ Reniaa please thinnk carefully about what I posted.

If the Bible calls Jesus a God it is for a VERY good reason. He is Christians God and saviour, and HIS name is the one that Christians must use, as pasword amply showed with all the scriptures he put up. This is a Bible teaching.

Regarding Jehovah who was the God of the nation of Israel it is nowhere stated in the new testamant that he is the names God of Christians. Again that is a Bible FACT.

We are not frightened to use it it's the english transliteration of YHWH which itself is not actually a proper name like say, frank but rather means I shall prove to be.

    Are you a Christian Reniaa?

Do you accept what the Bible clearly says?

Jesus rightly directed attention to Worship God the father while on earth, but in the book of revelation we see him sitting at his father's right hand being worshipped by all creation, which if you hope to be there MUST INCLUDE YOU.

Yes there is one God ,so when the Bible says in Isaiah 43;10

"that before me there was no God formed and after me there continued to be none"

Just where does that place Jesus Reniaa?

    He is a God right?

It can only mean that He is to be regarded as God in the same way as the one speaking( i.e. Jehovah from your standpoint.)

The problem you have Reniaa is you cannot grasp the COMPOSITE nature of God, Not three God's just one. 3 individual persons with divine nature.

The Bible says there is God the father . FACT.

The Bible calls Jesus divine and God . FACT.

The Bible calls The Holy Spirit God. 2cor 3;17 look it up in your nwt. FACT.

It's your spiritual blindness induced by following wts dogma that is your stumbling block Ren. You are obviously intelligent, it's a shame.

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Wrote Sherlock Holmes , and Holmes once said

" once you have eliminated every other possibillity the only thing that is remaining MUST be the truth no matter how improbable or unbelievable."

Just what are we left with Reniaa?

We KNOW The Bible says there is one God.

We KNOW the Bible doesn't contradict itself.

We KNOW it calls Both Jesus and the Holy Spirirt divine.

We KNOW that Jesus Is worshipped many times in scripture.

What must we conclude whether we or the organisation we are part of says something different?

Simply put that WE must be in the wrong however much we want to believe otherwise.

funny jesus did not want worship but I guess in this you don't listen to him.

    Matthew 4:10
Jesus said to him, "Away from me, Satan! For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.' "

Jesus denied worship to Satan. You must worship only the Lord your God. Jesus is God in nature- nowhere did he refute this here...he only refuted that Satan deserves worship.
    John 4:23-24 (New International Version)

23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.

note he says the father not the son!

How does one worship the Father?

Jhn 5:23That all [men] should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

    Oh wow Reniaa.

    1 Corinthians 11:3
Now I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.

Shows the perfect submission of the Son to the Father. The father is the source of all decisions while the Son is the perfect agent in carrying them out. They possess the same nature...different roles.

Yep. I still want to know what Reniaa, as a faithful and discreet Jehovah's Witness, has to say about Paul claiming Jesus is Jah God, 'cause if Jesus is Jah God, the Watch Tower Society are in difficulty for sidelining Jesus in their worship.
