1 Corinthians 8:6
yet for us there is but oneGod, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but oneLord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.this scripture explains it better than I can.
Ok, that scripture does explain it. We have Jesus as being the one Lord. Bu I'm confused....Didn't Thomas refer to Jesus as 'ho theos', the God [of me]? So if there's only one God, and you say he isn't Jesus, then Jesus should have rebuked Thomas for saying he was his God.
Mysteriously, he didn't...
OK, how many saviours are there? Isaiah says there's only one; YHWH. (Isa 43:10). That must mean the writers of the New Testament weren't inspired by God, because they wrote that Jesus is our Saviour - Titus 1:4, Tit 3:6, 2 Pet 1:1. 2 Pet 1:11, 2 Pet 2:20, 1 John 4:14.
Again, we seem to have a disparity between who you say the Lord God and Saviour of us all is, and who the 1st C Christians said he was.
