I had an elder and his family over for dinner once and showed him the blueprints to a custom home I was building. The very next weekend I had a shepherding call about materialism! Then of course not long after that they came to me asking for money so a poor family in the congregation could get to the assembly!

The problem is, every time Satan attempts to give me anything, that Almighty Lowlife Scumbag Jehovah takes it away. And then He still expects me to praise Him--instead of giving Satan the credit.
The same thing happens every time I do something, and success should happen due solely to my own efforts. That Almighty Lowlife Scumbag Jehovah takes it away, and still expects my praise.

I talked to my daughter last night about this and she said it was this type of reasoning that turns her off so much about the Witnesses. Any success, if you're no longer attending meetings= you're no good.
