Wow...... After reading the first few posts and the last few posts I don't even want to read to find out how this thread took such a ridiculous turn. What I do want to say however is that the whole BBQ and Doberman thing is pretty funny. I volunteer my pittie / dobie mix for that party!

It only took a turn with Snow's last post. Completely out of left field... deranged....

okay...to get somewhat back on track:
Hope not. Romo, Kitna and McGee should be good enough without the distraction of Vick.
True dat...but you know Jerry. He can't leave well enough alone. He's drawn to high profile, yet troubled, players like a moth to a flame.

Those of you appalled by the facts of American history should google "slavery in ancient Rome"
My ancestors were oppressed! I demand reparations!
And Michael Vick should be allowed to play football again.

I think they should let him play.

Yes, unfortunately you're right. Jerry's arguably the best owner in the league, but no question the single worst GM. Tell me one other general manager that went 14 years without a playoff victory without being fired.
Hopefully his new toy will keep his attention occupied and he won't notice Vick.

Vick did the crime, and unlike most celebs, he actually did the time. That's good enough for me. I say let him play. If he had done the crime without the punishment I would feel differently. Hopefully he learned his lesson- and I bet he did.

He's a sorry excuse for a human being... sure, he paid his price to society, but to be allowed to be in a "job" where you're looked up to as a "role model," no way. He should be working in some corner basement cubicle somewhere and forgotten, not out for kids to cheer for and learn poor life lessons from...

I am a dog lover in general, and in particular a pit bull lover. I think what he did to those animals was despicable. However, the man should get a second chance. Please note that he does not deserve a second chance.
