Something Big Is Happening To the WT Mag.

I looked over the Aug. 1 Public Watchtower and noticed the same changes I observed previously.

Plainly put, it appears that they have simply run out of things to say and so are just filling up printing space!

They devote 4 full pages to a Bible reading schedule that could have been easily condensed into a couple sentences. They have the same large graphics and typeset that eats up printing area. The back cover lists a few review questions ( for the public??? Really?) that simply rehash the magazine! - and even then, are set on a blank background to absorb space.

The magazine also offers "Our Readers Ask - How Much Should I Donate?" Really? Haven't they beaten this subject to death? Does anyone really believe that Watchtower readers are clamoring to know how much money to send in?

Even the cover title is odd: "How Can You Choose a Good Religion? Huh? "Good Religion"??? Just Good? or OK?

Something is changing here. If you doubt me, pick up a copy and compare it with past issues. I think they are running out of things to say and are so brain-drained and painted into a corner , with doctrine, they can't talk about much of anything.

At some point, this "Public" Watchtower is going to be seen for the dud it is. With 'begging' articles aplenty, perhaps it's headed for cancelation, instead of the downsized Awake...........

They must also be severly hamstrung legally, especially for the public edition.

I haven't seen a WT magazine for a few years. It must be taxing to write articles, then discuss how to water them down so as not to offend the public, in the version that is fed to them.

Scientists say that light travels in waves and particles. Maybe there are few new waves and/or particles coming their way.

I have an idea for a new topic....will or will not the people in Sodom and Gomorrah be resurrected?

That's good. If they go with that topic, they'll have something new to talk about in each issue.

The mags are going to peter out.

The WT is focusing attention on a big advertising campaign to pump up assemblies.

They must be bribing a lot of media to turn their heads to the horros of this cult, because newspapers all over the country, as well as local television stations are promoting "Armageddon sensationalism" to advertise the assemblies.

The newspapers all give a positive spin of the cult.

The TV ads are slick and well produced.

WT is not folding. It is just redirecting its $$ and energies in a different venue.

A few years from now when the "end" still hasn't come, then they can blame it on the "newspapers" and "television" for overstating their end times message and that, of course, that it isn't their fault. They always have a way of blaming everyone else and not themselves.

The less they say the less they can be scrutinized in the media like the inter-net, yes the inter-net

is changing how the Watchtower Society operates and conducts itself.

Obviously they didn't have this problem in the past.

The boys in Brooklyn are nervously cowering into a corner trying to keep themselves looking truthful and viable.

Yes, the Internet is a feature provided around the entire earth which is capable of swallowing up the river of lies published by The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society.

    Revelation 12

16 But the earth came to the woman’s help, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the river that the dragon disgorged from its mouth. 17 And the dragon grew wrathful at the woman, and went off to wage war with the remaining ones of her seed, who observe the commandments of God and have the work of bearing witness to Jesus.

I think they will soon simply combine the Watchtower and Awake into one monthly magazine.

For the sake of not shocking the members, they'll call it Awake and then they will still have their personal Watchtower, they'll still see both mags.

Each reduction in production is seen as trouble in the Ivory Tower. They do these things in a slow calculated way.

They do these things in a slow calculated way.
They "calibrate" everything in precise measurements so that they don't raise any sudden red flags in the ranks.
