When I was 23 I dated a man who was 29 years older than me. He took my parents to dinner and kept calling my father "young man". I had to tell him to cut it out. After him I date a man who was 19 years older and one who was 17 years older. After that lot (I got tired of being treated like a brainless little girl) I decided I would only date men closer to my age. Hubby is one year older than me.

I need to find out about her religious and political persuasions.

It really helps a lot if you're compatible on those subjects. Communication style is also vital, in any relationship. Chemistry, also a good thing, no?

My mom's parents: he was born in 1901. She was born in 1912. They married in 1930. They built a very good fortune and life together. The only problem for them was his health when he hit the elderly years. He became completely helpless, even being unable to speak. Grandma cared for him at home, using a lift to get him out of bed. She bathed him in his bed. But I never heard a word of regret from either of them. He was every child's dream of a grandaddy.

Based upon my own experiences I feel that compatibility should be the main criteria instead of age. If a female is comfortable being with a man twice her age then so be it. She needs to take into consideration that he will age much more and the attractive quailities in apperance will fade. If she is willing to adjust to that then let them join together. There are many different circumstance in this world that people have to contend with. For instance and older man might be more financially stable then a younger man. So many times a younger female will choose this over the age factor. But is this based upon true love? An older man might have to accept that he has been chosen merely for financial stability. How willing is he to put up with a female that might not truly love him? He might be with a female whose eyes wonder and might not be completely faithful to him. I have to weigh this out time and time again because I am an older gentleman.

As far as maturity I see many variances in the female and it is not always based upn their age. I prefer maturity but yearn for the child-like quality which seems to be found with a younger female. Older females are not always fond of just having fun in simplicity and prefer to be more serious. Their thinking might we, well we have to act our age now that we are older. I prefer to be who I am despite my age and enjoy fun and laughter depending on the situation of course. It seems to me that the heartfelt yearning of a younger female is more intense. It can be likend to a crush that a younger female carries in her teen years. This seems to drift from the older female in time and they are more cautious because of the many bad experiences they have encountered.

So tell me, what age category do you think I should remain in based upn my appearace?
