    is it real though?

Obviously this video has been faked by the great Apostate alliance.

Oh, the lengths they will go to discredit God's devine organization!

Never a truer word..... that's how I felt about my own JC hearing plus a few other "meetings with the BoEs" - never got to the bottom of matters even when confronted with the truth... their ears were 'stopped up' just hearing what they wanted.

Go to the youtube channel or the website and ask them. From the ones I've heard this seems legit, it just seems those elders were especially not loving. If a judicial committee meeting could've been taped from my former congregation, this is what it would sound like for sure.

He is asked if he has another recording device, he lies and says no when clearly he does. He procedes to to play word games with them. You can tell he was a witness for sure because he knows how to talk in circles himself. They took to long to do what they finally did yet they weren't honest enough. They should have said, "You do not want to be a witness so you get your wish. You may go. Then they shouldn't have said another word. He knows the routine. This is an old recording as I recall. I wasn't impressed with his efforts to simply use the event to spar with the men he knew weren't interested in spending thier time in such a stupid pursuit. Everyone there knew from the start that it was rubberstamp time. Waste of air. I think it clearly exposes how to piss off people. W.Once

If I had a complaint about this recording it's what you mentioned here. I don't see why he couldn't have said "I don't know, I'd like to study it further, but I have alot of questions. I would like the freedom to look into this with one of you possibly, hence why I'm looking to not be disfellowshipped, but you must understand I have alot of questions."

The thing I don't understand about JWs is this, let's say I don't understand how Union forces defeated the Southern forces in the battle of Gettysburgh, and I tell a historian I don't think his explanation is right. Chances are he'll discuss it with me, in fact he'll more than likely cite his sources. If I question his sources he'll probably go over why he trusts his sources. What he won't do is question my sincerity, tell me the reason I'm asking the question, or anything displayed in this.

I wasn't an elder however, can I ask of the elders or former elders on here, is this a typical way JWs are dealt with in a Judicial Committee meeting?

I wonder what would happen if someone brought in a high quality video camera and told them that, as a condition of having the meeting at all, that it would be recorded and could be posted on a public forum. Any attempt to disrupt the recording will result in a lawsuit, and could result in obstruction of justice and/or vandalism charges (vandalism would be pressed if they made any attempt to damage or destroy the equipment).
