#3 don't go to a JC and play their games. A while back I wanted to do something like this guy did but I don't see the point any more. If the elders ever ask to "talk" to me I ( which might happen ) I will just tell them I don't feel that it is necessary because I feel great. If they insist I just say goodbye and have a nice day.

What a happyfing experience it is to hear Jehovah's appointed elders be so loving and caring to a lost sheep. It just shows close we are to the end of this Wicked System of Things. How thankful we can be to Jehovah's faithful and discreet slave for being so loving and consistent and always 100% right in everything they say and do.

Everyone on this thread is hateful and/or paranoid.

Your funny big tex. I'm surprised how some of us ex-JW can "switch on" the JW reasoning so easily with out barfing.

Hey Tex, apparently you read my list of most hated words on that other thread. I hate that Happifying word. My vote to this guy is, go in peace and don't look back. Is that hateful? W.Once

The background pic from the Twilight Zone is a perfect representation of a JC. This sounds real to me as I've had similar conversations although not with a JC.

I agree with his statement on his desires being judged. Also, I believe you can bring someone along if they are there to testify in your behalf...I may be wrong but I remember folks doing that.

Did the WBTS make a formal announcement to the congregations regarding their affliliations with the UN?

Sadly, I have handled a JC for Apostacy, it was just like that. The Chairman would not address any of the issues raised. It's why I am here today. Reniaa, even if this is fake it is EXACTLY what happens. This is the love that is demonstarted by the Elders.

I never sat on a judicial committee meeting for apostasy, but the recording rings true because I can hear the unease of the elder who keeps trying to shut down the meeting and have everyone leave.

They are not prepared to deal with a person who questions the TRUTH. Deep down inside they know their precious doctrines are vulnerable because they themselves have seen them reversed, modified and denied. These are the very questions they won't even consider in the privacy of their own minds.

The very idea that such questions would be scripturally "discussed before the congregation" gives them (and the WTB&TS) the drizzling shits. The whole idea of trying to readjust a wavering brother is a sham. They have the DF ax already sharpened and it is their only tool to defend the cult.

So this really would be the way it would go for a JC regarding apostacy. I'm curious if the accused simply said "Hey when I brought that stuff up it's not something I believe but it's strictly something I have questions about that I was hoping someone had already done some thorough research on. I'm not saying I've already come to a decision or anything, I'm saying I would like to research this and more so would like some help in doing so."

I'm curious if that would get the accused out of the meeting without being DF'ed

If one goes into the JC and argues a lot instead of bluffing their way through it, it seems as if they don't care if they are df'd or not.

I'm at work now but I want to listen when I get home.
