Some regard it as works based salvation.
It isn't, however. Salvation is an ongoing process, not a one time event accompanying an epiphany.

Again, where does the bible state IMPLICITY that belief in the Trinity is needed for salvation?
Not something that MAY be interpreted that way, but stated plainly
Adding to my earlier post, let's not forget John 17:3, "Now this is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God ... ", a popular JW verse. What God? The triune God.
He therefore that will be saved : must think thus of the Trinity.
This is the last line of the above Athanasian creed quoted. As such, it would apply to the many Protestant and/or other Christian denominations that adhere to the creed.
Like many here I was active as a Witness for a long period of my life. That is not the issue I have been pointing out to you about your belief in a concept that was developed and drawn from a lot of philosophical and metaphysical corners. The central ethical problem with the Trinity is it conceives of the Supreme Being as a cruel monster who hurts people in the afterlife. Followers immulated that belief into their lives and hurt millions and millions.
In a nutshell: 'Love me or I will torture you for all eternity', that's the Trinity God.
Sad you can't see it but others will be helped to avoid stepping in to the quagmire of the Trinitarian Fundamentalists.

So if you quit being a JW, and Christianity preaches and teaches the Trinity for the most part, where is the true religion? Your options are limited. Where are all of the people that have been harvested for the past 2,000 years? And do you have issues with the fact that Jesus was, and is, God? Or do you believe that those people also are Satanic butchers?

But what if it can be proven through scripture that the Trinity doctrine is true? Isn't that where you should start your analysis?
Poor Jonathan, like Stephen, filled with so much superstition. Just another cult follower with a different color.
It is amazing adults like these sit and get indoctrinated with such awful tales about a Supreme Being who tortures and have the timerity to point the finger at other religions. They can't see what's been done to them.
Designs, I don't believe God tortures anyone. And by the way, it's nice to know you are so above it all.

That's Freedom....

So I take it you are an atheist. Or do you just hate God?
