Don't you just love the Dubs condemnation of the Trinity Doctrine, which they do not understand and therefore mis-represent,because they say it is not found, fully formed in the N.T

And yet neither is a Paradise Earth, or a Faithfull and Dis. slave "Class", or dis-fellowshipping, or God's Organization, I could go on and on.

The words ignorant and hypocrites come to mind.

The issue that the WT has with the trinity is NOT the trinity but the divinity of Christ, to them Jesus is "just another messenger", they do not base their teachings on the New Covenant as much as they base it on the OLD and their own unique interpretations.

They put Jesus in a "lesser role" than what he true role is in the New Covenant, they pay Jesus lip service, not much more than that.

To admit His divinity in any shape or form would be a challenge on MANY of their views, it would be a challenge on their authority of the GB, on disfellowshiping and even the Blood issue, it would be a challenge to thier current Baptizimal vows and so much more.

I'm so amazed at how short you people are on answers while abusing Witnesses???? I ask again...On what basis can I conclude the Jews worshiped a Trinity/triune or whatever your theory God? How would you prove this to a modern day Jew?

    cough, cough bullsh*t........

Go search the CD.... The issue is with co-equal and co-eternal rather than divine nature....... at least according to WTS litertrash.

    Ynot,

Not sure what CD you are referring to, but does the WT claim that Jesus is Divine?

As for Jesus being co-equal and co-eternal, well doesn't John 1 answer all that ?

The answer is they didn't and don't ......

I was googling (as the few Jewish friends I have are at work) and stumbled across this site regarding 'Messiahship'

    http://www.jewfaq.org/moshiach.htm

The word "moshiach" does not mean "savior." The notion of an innocent, divine or semi-divine being who will sacrifice himself to save us from the consequences of our own sins is a purely Christian concept that has no basis in Jewish thought.

    and

The moshiach will be a great political leader descended from King David (Jeremiah 23:5). The moshiach is often referred to as "moshiach ben David" (moshiach, son of David). He will be well-versed in Jewish law, and observant of its commandments (Isaiah 11:2-5). He will be a charismatic leader, inspiring others to follow his example. He will be a great military leader, who will win battles for Israel. He will be a great judge, who makes righteous decisions (Jeremiah 33:15). But above all, he will be a human being, not a god, demi-god or other supernatural being.

    Ynot,

Wiki has a list of the signs of "messiahship" that must happen for the Jews to consider someone a Messiah and for them to be in the messianic age.

    PSacramento....

I take it you have never been a JW..... Yes the JWs when firmly pressed admit Jesus' divinity.

John 1 is viewed through interpretational eyes and both Athanasians and Arians see what they want to see (so to debate it results in stalemate)

2008 WTCD download link kudos going to Rocky and Anonymous JWN poster....

....... Seriously all the JW hating on Trinity almost makes me wanna do sincere field service to lessen the Earth of Trinitarians ......

The self-righteousness of SOME trinitarians isn't any differnt then the tyranny of the WTS!

    PS ...

    Good for Wiki...

However in regards to Witness007 question the answer is still NO they haven't ever nor plan to in the future worship a triune god.....
